Donateme.co.zw is a crowdfunding platform that allows individuals and organizations (“Campaign Creators”) to raise funds for personal, charitable, or business projects. Supporters (“Donors”) can contribute financially to these campaigns.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or donate to a campaign.
By registering, you confirm that you have the legal right and capacity to enter into this agreement.
Campaign Creators must be residents of Zimbabwe or comply with Zimbabwean laws when raising funds.
Campaign Creators must register an account and provide accurate personal and banking details.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
Donateme reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if false, misleading, or illegal information is provided.
Campaign Creators are fully responsible for their campaign’s accuracy, legality, and success.
Donateme does not guarantee that a campaign will reach its funding target.
Prohibited campaigns include:
Illegal activities under Zimbabwean law.
Funding for terrorism, money laundering, or fraud.
Campaigns involving hate speech, violence, drugs, or adult content.
Donateme reserves the right to remove any campaign at its sole discretion.
All donations are voluntary and non-refundable, unless required by Zimbabwean law.
Donateme does not verify or monitor how Campaign Creators use the funds raised.
Donors acknowledge that contributions do not entitle them to ownership, profit, or repayment.
Donateme may charge a platform fee and/or transaction processing fee, disclosed at the time of contribution.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers (e.g., EcoCash, bank transfer, or other regulated gateways). These providers may have their own terms and charges.
Donateme is not liable for delays, errors, or disputes caused by payment providers.
You agree not to:
Violate Zimbabwean laws and regulations, including financial and data protection laws.
Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
Interfere with the proper functioning or security of Donateme.co.zw.
Campaign Creators retain ownership of their content but grant Donateme a license to display and promote it.
Donateme’s logos, trademarks, and branding remain the property of Donateme.co.zw.
Donateme is only an intermediary and does not guarantee campaign outcomes.
We do not endorse or verify campaign promises.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Donateme is not liable for losses, damages, or disputes arising from use of the platform.
Donateme may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, or misuse of the platform.
Users may request to close their accounts at any time.
Donateme complies with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:22].
Personal information will only be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using Donateme, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Donateme may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with the new effective date. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.
